Official X Account Management Policy

PRONEXUS INC. (“PRONEXUS”) has formulated an official X account management policy (the “Policy”) for the X account which it established and operates (the “Account”) to build better relationships with its users. When using the Account, please refer to the Policy and understand its purpose.

1. Compliance with Terms of Service and the Policy

All users of the Account are deemed to have agreed to the Terms of Service established by X Corp. and the Policy when accessing the Account.

2. Basic policy

(1) Purpose of use

The Account aims to deepen understanding of PRONEXUS and enhance convenience for users by providing beneficial information through the dissemination of information about PRONEXUS’s operations, initiatives, and Group companies.

(2) Compliance matters

PRONEXUS understands the characteristics of information dissemination on social media and will comply with the following matters in regard to the Account.

  1. Compliance with Laws
    PRONEXUS will comply with laws and regulations and will not infringe on the patent rights, design rights, copyrights, trademark rights, or portrait rights of third parties. Additionally, PRONEXUS will not disseminate information that promotes criminal activities.
  2. Protection of confidential information
    PRONEXUS will not disseminate information that identifies or discloses personal information without the individual’s consent, or any information that infringes or may infringe on privacy.
  3. Respect for human rights
    PRONEXUS will not disseminate information that defames or damages the honor or credibility of specific individuals, companies, or organizations, nor will PRONEXUS disseminate information that discriminates or promotes discrimination based on race, ideology, beliefs, etc.
  4. Fair and impartial dissemination of information
    PRONEXUS will not disseminate information of unknown origin or authenticity, false information, information that significantly differs from fact, or mere rumors or information that promotes such rumors. Additionally, PRONEXUS will strive to disseminate information with moderation, ensuring not to share content that is contrary to public order and morals or that promotes political or religious activities.

3. Operation

(1) Operating entity and content of posts

The Account is operated by the President’s Office of the Corporate Planning and Administrative Division of PRONEXUS, and will primarily disseminate information corresponding to the following as appropriate.

  • Information about PRONEXUS’s financial results
  • Information about PRONEXUS’s CSR activities
  • Information about seminars and events hosted, co-hosted, or sponsored by PRONEXUS
  • Other information that is useful for users, high in demand, or necessary to be disseminated

(2) Timing of posts

In principle, posts will be made irregularly between 9:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. on weekdays.

(3) Follow, quote, retweet, etc.

Accounts that are highly relevant to PRONEXUS or are deemed to provide useful information to users may be followed, and their information may be quoted or retransmitted (quote posts or reposts).

(4) Comments

In principle, PRONEXUS will not reply to questions or opinions submitted as comments (replies) to the Account. Additionally, the reception of direct messages is disabled. If you have any questions or opinions, please send them to corporate communications via the inquiry page on PRONEXUS’s website below. However, please understand that a response to all inquiries is not guaranteed.

(5) Handling of personal information

In principle, the operator of the Account will not collect, use, or manage personal information. However, in certain projects, personal information such as the names of interviewers and interviewees in interview content who have granted permission to make such content public, the names of lecturers in seminar announcements, or names included when quoting publicly available content on the internet, as well as personal information obtained from users, will be appropriately managed in accordance with PRONEXUS’s “Personal Information Protection Policy.

4. Important notes when accessing the Account

(1) Regarding the citation of sources

When reposting or quoting content posted by the Account, clearly indicate the reposted or quoted sections and always specify the source.
Additionally, when editing or modifying a portion of the posted content for quotation, clearly indicate that editing or modification has been done, in addition to the above requirements. Note that it is prohibited to edit or modify a portion of the post content in such a way that it appears as if it was created by PRONEXUS and then publish or use it.

(2) Use of posted content

Some posts distributed from the Account may involve copyrights and other rights held by third parties (referring to entities other than PRONEXUS; the same applies hereinafter). For content where a third party holds the copyright, or content where a third party holds rights other than copyright (e.g., portrait rights in photographs, publicity rights), users may not use such content unless it is explicitly stated that rights clearance has been completed, or unless the user has obtained permission for use from the third party at their own responsibility.
Additionally, for content where a third party holds rights, it may be directly or indirectly suggested that a third party holds rights through the indication of the source, etc. However, there may be cases where the specific parts where the third party holds rights are not clearly identified or indicated. Use is permitted only when the user has confirmed it at their own responsibility.

(3) Prohibited matters

In regard to the access of the Account, including quoting information related to the Account or editing/modifying through partial quotations, please refrain from the following actions. If a user’s actions fall under any of the following items, PRONEXUS may, at its discretion, block or unfollow the user without notice, and may also take legal action.

  • Acts of impersonating PRONEXUS or a third party
  • Acts that disrupt smooth operation or cause inconvenience to others
  • Acts that include content unrelated to the Account’s content
  • Acts of using or reproducing the information provided by PRONEXUS for purposes beyond the scope of personal use
  • Acts that include content deemed to be in violation of X’s Terms of Service
  • Acts of posting or transmitting content related to political activities, election campaigns, or religious activities
  • Acts of posting or transmitting content intended for criminal activities or content that induces criminal activities
  • Acts of posting or transmitting inappropriate content, including obscene expressions
  • Acts of posting or transmitting harmful computer programs, etc.
  • Acts that violate laws, regulations, or public order and morals (including those related to illegal modifications, dangerous driving, etc.) or acts that may potentially do so
  • Acts that infringe on the rights of PRONEXUS or third parties, such as copyrights, trademark rights, or honor
  • Acts of posting or transmitting private information (such as your own or others’ email addresses, phone numbers, addresses, etc.)
  • Acts of defaming or slandering specific individuals, companies, properties, or regions
  • Acts of posting or transmitting content for advertising, affiliate marketing, or other promotional or solicitation purposes
  • Acts of borrowing or stealing names or addresses to gain unauthorized access to a computer
  • Accessing the Account, posting, or commenting by minors

▼Acts of posting or transmitting content that includes the following expressions (including similar expressions)

  • Those not based on specific events
  • Those that can be judged to significantly differ from the facts
  • Discriminatory expressions
  • Those that are problematic from an ethical standpoint
  • Inappropriate content that may make other users uncomfortable
  • Those that disclose private communications with PRONEXUS or third parties
  • Those that falsify or misrepresent content, or provide misleading information
  • Any other content deemed inappropriate by PRONEXUS in light of its purpose

5. Intellectual property rights

Unless otherwise stated, all rights to the content distributed from the Account, including corporate logos, trademarks, images, etc., are not waived or transferred and are protected by laws related to intellectual property rights (including, but not limited to, copyrights, design rights, patent rights, utility model rights, trademark rights, and expertise).
Additionally, the intellectual property rights, such as copyrights, related to comments posted to the Account belong to the poster. However, by making comments, the poster grants PRONEXUS the right to use them non-exclusively and free of charge worldwide, and agrees not to exercise copyrights or other rights against PRONEXUS.

6. Disclaimer

  • While every effort is made to ensure the accuracy of the information disseminated through the Account, PRONEXUS assumes no responsibility for any actions taken by users based on the information provided by the Account.
  • The information disseminated through the Account does not necessarily represent the official views of PRONEXUS. For official announcements and views of PRONEXUS, please refer to our website and news releases. Additionally, please be aware that the information disseminated through the Account is current as of the time of posting and may be subject to change thereafter.
  • PRONEXUS assumes no responsibility for any troubles or damages that arise between users and third parties due to the information disseminated through the Account.
  • PRONEXUS assumes no responsibility for comments or other content posted by users to the Account.
  • PRONEXUS assumes no responsibility for any other damages arising in connection with the Account.
  • PRONEXUS may suspend operation of the Account, delete posts (including reposts), or delete the Account itself without prior notice. PRONEXUS assumes no responsibility for any of these measures.

7. Changes to the management policy

Changes to the Policy may be made as necessary without prior notice.

8. Governing law and agreed jurisdiction

The interpretation of the Policy shall be governed by Japanese law. Additionally, the Tokyo District Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction as the court of first instance for any disputes related to the use of the Account and the Policy.
